Prerequisite: This advanced course should be taken by:
- Managers who have completed CMM 130 (Ethics for Community Managers) OR
- Managers earning their CCAM designation through the Alternative Path
This scenario and case-study based course builds on the
content presented in CMM130. Become more confident in dealing with ethical
dilemmas faced by community managers on a regular basis. Collaborate with
colleagues to determine the best ethical course to follow.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Discuss industry ethics and authentic ethical case studies.
- Analyze ethical choices using CACM Framework for Ethical Decision Making.
- Advise others, appropriately, in making ethical choices in the workplace.
- Debate ethical scenarios using the CACM Professional Code of Ethics to support your position.
Please note: Completion of this course satisfies the CCAM recertification ethics requirement.
Placement in this Ethics course is tentative pending a review by the education team. In the event that a different Ethics course is more appropriate you will be contacted by the team who will make changes to your registration.
