In this mastery-level, case study based course, members apply their years of experience and education to navigate ethical decision-making.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
-Describe ethical situations to cohorts and direct reports using the CACM Ethical Discussion Guidelines to inform those conversations.
-Formulate the best approach to “Gray” ethical areas using the CACM Ethical Discussion Guidelines and CACM Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Practice.
-Demonstrate an appropriate ethical decision-making process when presented with questionable ethical situations.
-Successfully maneuver others through that process by providing consistency in decision making and broaching ethical conversations.
Please note: This is not an introductory course. The prior completion of LDR500 is required. Completion of this course satisfies the CCAM recertification ethics requirement.
Placement in this Ethics course is tentative pending a review by the education team. In the event that a different Ethics course is more appropriate you will be contacted by the team who will make changes to your registration.
Course Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing via email at registration@cacm.org at least 3 days prior to the stat date. The registration fee will be credited to the purchaser's account. Course cancellations will not be accepted after the course has transpired and the registrant will need to re-register for their desired course (registration fees apply).
